The first renders of the Galaxy S11+ emerged a few days ago and made quite the buzz. After all, it shows a huge rectangular island that comprises of 5 circular setups. It really steals a lot of space in the rear, and being honest, it doesn’t look good. Now, the very reliable tipster, IceUniverse, took Twitter to state that these renders are inaccurate and the Galaxy S11+ camera’s design won’t be so messy as it looks.
Moreover, he states that all 5x optical zoom lens openings are square (for greater light input), and this is the error in the S11+ rendering. The 11+ is rumored to come with a Penta-Camera setup, looking at the renders we can see the five sensors, however, all of them are circular. Unlike most periscope designs. The leakster further states that the Galaxy S11+ camera’s island is neat.
Gizchina News of the week
All 5x optical zoom lens openings are square (for greater light input), and this is an error in the S11+ rendering: we did not find the square opening. In addition, the sensor area of the real S11+ is neat and not so messy. pic.twitter.com/PqupDwoxrt

Interestingly enough, the renders of the Galaxy S11 shows a better camera design. Although it didn’t look really symmetrical, it is far better than what we’re seeing about the S11+. For now, we should take these renders with a pinch or two of salt. After all, IceUniverse seems to have some consistency in its claims.
The S11 series is expected for 2020, towards the MWC season. For that reason, we expect to see many leaks popping out until the release.
