Earlier today, we reported the arrival of stable One UI 2.0 Android 10 update on Samsung Galaxy S10 lineup in Germany. At that moment, the update was currently available for public beta testers. The smartphone maker has now started rolling out the update to the non-beta testers as well. Furthermore, the package file of the major firmware update is also up for download via SamMobile. It is worth mentioning that the update is currently hitting the users located in Germany. We’re expecting the stable release to hit other regions in the coming days as well.
The update carries the version G973FXXU3BSKO/G973FOXM3BSKO/G973FXXU3BSKL along with a size of 1.9GB in size. The update also brings the December 2019 security patch to the device. If you’re living in Germany and are using Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10e or Galaxy S10 Plus, you should see the update notification anytime soon. You can also check the update manually by heading over to Settings>>Software Update. If the update notification still doesn’t trigger, then the company might be seeding it in the batches.
Gizchina News of the week
Those who’re not living in Germany can still taste the stable One UI 2.0 Android 10 update on their devices by manually flashing it. Since you’re tinkering with the device, it is advisable to take a complete backup using Samsung Switch. Keep in mind that you might end up damaging your device if you don’t know what you’re doing.
With that said, the update will soon hit the other regions in the coming days. After the Galaxy S10 trio, the official stable update should hit the Galaxy Note 10 devices. Samsung Israel has also disclosed the update roadmap for the official stable Android 10 update. Unlike last year, it seems like the company is working hard to roll out a stable update as soon as possible.
