Xiaomi Mi Credit Lending Platform Re-Launch Set for December 3 in India

Xiaomi Mi Credit

Back in May last year, Xiaomi entered the finance credit service by launching the Mi Credit-lending platform in India. As of now, the service is currently available to MIUI users only. It seems like that might change soon since the brand is preparing for its rehaul. The smartphone maker has started sending out the invites for the upcoming launch event. The company will re-launch the Mi Credit application on December 3. For those who’re unaware, the Mi Credit is the instant loan credit platform allowing users to avail of personal loans at a monthly interest rate of 3 percent.

Even though the brand has started sending the invites, we don’t have much information on the new update. We might see new features along with a major app rehaul. Earlier this month, a newer version of the Mi Credit app made its way to the Google Play Store. Using the Mi Credit application, young professionals can easily initiate the loan in less than 10 minutes by following a simple KYC procedure. The app offers loan tenure from 15 days to 90 days. Furthermore, users can find the financial loan providers on the app for quick loans.

Apart from Mi Credit, Xiaomi has two more value-added internet services in the country dubbed Mi Music and Mi Video. It would be interesting to see what changes and improvements the brand will integrate in the next iteration of the service. It is worth noting that the service, as of now, doesn’t even work on Xiaomi’s stock devices such as Mi A2.

In other related news, Xiaomi is also planning to launch its flagship Mi Note 10 Pro device in the country with a massive 108MP primary sensor. For those who’re not unaware, the device is nothing but a rebranded version of Mi CC9 Pro.
