Even though the Black Friday has passed, it seems like some deals are still available to grasp. Apple is now offering a special offer on its news service dubbed Apple News+ for the Black Friday weekend. This means that the offer is up for grabs until Monday, December 3. Although the news service is free to use, the plus membership gives you access to hundreds of magazines and paywalled content from various news sites.
The smartphone maker is now offering the extended three-month free trial period to the first time users. For those who’re, the trial period typically lasts for one month. This Black Friday offer is only available to users residing in the United States and Canada. To initiate the trial, you can head over to the Apple News website in the United States and Canada.

After the trial period, you will be charged $9.99 (in the US) or $12.99 (in Canada) automatically. If you wish to cancel the subscription, you can do that before the trial period gets over. It is worth mentioning that the trial will cease functioning immediately once it is canceled. Sadly, the offer is not available for other major regions such as Australia and the United Kingdom.
Apple News+ was launched way back in March 2019 and since then, it has managed to get around 20,000 initial subscribers. However, the subscription service is now struggling to get more subscribers. The previous report suggests the company is planning to bundle Apple News+, AppleTV+ and Apple Music in order to increase the overall value.
