Huawei continues to expand its operations in Brazil with the launch of some smartphones and products aimed at the technology market. The company recently announced the arrival of FreeBuds Lite wireless headsets while selling the P30 and P30 Lite in their stores. But Huawei’s Twitter account seems to be moving in another direction

However, the company caught the public’s attention at the eve of Black Friday with some embarrassing tweets. That’s because the official account of the company – Huawei Mobile Brazil – on Twitter has been hacked.

The account has commented on Black Friday in Brazil and even provoked its competitor Apple.

 Huawei’s Twitter account hacked

One of the messages was dedicated to the Black Friday, and Huawei pranksters promised that poor users will not be able to buy the company’s equipment and all for the glory of communism.

The hacker decided to offend Apple as everyone knows that the two companies are competing. Using obscene language and in an openly insulting tone, they posted “Hey Apple”. Followed by offensive words, then “We’re the best!”

Shortly thereafter, the company has apologized to its consumers, promising punishment for the hackers. They said that they are investigating the incident and reinforced its respect for consumers.

Huawei says it will take measures and promises that its products will have real discount in Brazil.
