Realme X2 Pro is one of the hottest smartphones in recent years packing all the features one need in a premium smartphone but at an affordable price. Anyways, the phone still costs more than Redmi K20 Pro (review) in India which is its prime competitor. Thus, to make it more attractive to buyers, Realme might soon come up with a 6GB + 64GB variant with a lower price tag according to the specifications listed on the company’s Indian website, as spotted by Mysmartprice.

In case you are not aware of, Realme already sells 6GB + 64GB UFS 2.1 storage variant of the Realme X2 Pro in China. But this configuration did not make its way to international markets as users buying phones at this price look for more storage. Additionally, this variant also lacks UFS 3.0 storage technology which could be a deal-breaker for some due to reduced read / write speeds. But now it seems this configuration will at least hit Indian markets soon due to intense competition from other brands. We can expect Realme India to announce the availability of the new storage variant soon.
The Realme X2 Pro is currently on sale in India for the very first time on the occasion of Realme India Black Friday sale along with discounts on a number of other phones from the company.
