Amazfit X will begin mass production in the first half of 2020

Back in August, Xiaomi’s subsidiary/partner company Huami announced the Amazfit GTS. The new wearable came with a square-ish form fact and a clear inspiration on Apple Watch’s design. During the same event, the company teased a prototype of Amazfit X. It is a stunning wearable with a curved AMOLED display.

Today, Huami announced via its Weibo account that the mass production of the curved Amazfit X will start in the first half of 2020. The Amazfit X boasts a flexible 2.07-inch AMOLED display with 366ppi and up to 430 nits of brightness. The wearable draws power from a 220mAh battery which can survive up to 7 days on a single charge. There’s no info regarding to the price.

Moreover, the company used the same post to tease the recently announced Amazfit GTS Titanium version. But this isn’t the end of Huami news.

In light of the upcoming movie “Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker” which launches later this month, Huami will be launching Star Wars Limited Edition of the Amazfit Sports Watch 3. It will be available in China’s Tmall on December 19. The galactic-inspired version will retail for CNY 1,699 (~$241).

Huami also announced plans to attend CES 2020 so the company is really preparing to step up in the wearable segment.
