We already know that the Redmi K30 flagship series will arrive on December 10th alongside other Redmi devices. Earlier today, Xiaomi’s co-founder, Lin Bin, announced at the on-going Snapdragon Tech Summit that the Xiaomi Mi 10 will use a Snapdragon 865 SoC. Now, Lu Weibing, Xiaomi VP and general manager of the Redmi brand have some information on the Redmi K30. According to him, the Redmi K30 will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC which integrates a Snapdragon X52 5G modem. This would be the world’s first smartphone to use this chip.
In addition to the chip information, there is also some info on the paint job. A purported real image of this smartphone shows that it will have a red colour option. However, this morning, an official poster shows that the K30 series will have a Purple Jade Fantasy Reality Edition. At least, we now know two possible colours, there could be more options.

The Redmi K30 supports SA/NSA 5G dual-mode 5G network and has a downlink peak of 3.7Gbps. At the same time, it uses the fifth-generation Qualcomm AIE artificial intelligence engine. This engine has a Top 5 AI computing power. Other features on this smartphone include a side fingerprint sensor, dual punch-hole front camera, and 12 antenna design.
Furthermore, the Redmi K30 supports up to 30W fast charge while the K30 Pro will use MediaTek’s latest 5G chip and supports up to 66W fast charge.
