A famous leaker claims that Samsung would have planned to integrate a telephoto lens in the three Galaxy S11 models planned for early next year, even in the Galaxy S11e, the successor of the Galaxy S10e. Behind this lens would be hidden a sensor offering a definition of 48MP, minimum.
Each week brings new details about Samsung’s next flagship, the Galaxy S11, S11+ and S11e. The main subjects covered by the rumors are design, in particular thanks to Steve Hemmerstoffer (OnLeaks) who published 3D renderings of the three models, and the photographic compartment. We also recently learned that the Galaxy S11 + would benefit from a battery with the most important capacity offered to a Galaxy S, namely 5000 mAh.
Today, new information has been released on social networks by the famous leaker Ice Universe. The latter published a message that reveals a detail that had never been discussed until now: the optical zoom of the Galaxy S11. And of all the Galaxy S11 models, even the most economical version would have it. This is a nice improvement over the Galaxy S10e who did not enjoy this feature.
The leaker reveals another interesting detail concerning the sensor hidden behind the telephoto lenses of the three Galaxy S11s. The component would offer a minimum definition of 48 megapixels. Recall that Samsung produces very high-resolution photosensors in its ISOCELL range: the Bright GM1 of 48 megapixels, the Bright GW1 of 64 megapixels and, of course, the Bright HMX of 108 megapixels. The latter should equip the main module of the Galaxy S11 +. It should therefore not be behind one of the telephoto lenses.
