After about 1 month from its official launch in China, the Samsung W20 5G a.k.a. the Galaxy Fold is finally on sale in the Asian country. The smartphone will be priced 19,999 yuan, around $2800 at the current exchange rates. With the definitely steep price, Chinese buyers will also get a free pair of Galaxy Buds and a leather case for a value of 999 Yuan or $140.

We already know the specs on the folding tablet / phone but let’s recap some of them for those interested in buying it now. The device adopts an extra large 7.3-inch display (when unfolded, of course). Meanwhile when folded we find a smaller 4.6-inch external display which should be easy to operate with a single hand.

According to Samsung, the W20 5G adopts a powerful organic polymer polyimide film material on the screen to achieve a 7.3-inch main display with a multi-layer film structure without using glass material. So, the film is firmly attached to the folding screen and it shouldn’t be removed. The plastic film also makes the display around 50% thinner than ordinary displays we find on Samsung phones.
Other specs on Samsung’s W20 5G include the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus flagship SoC; along with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Meanwhile battery capacity sits at a 4235mAh.
As we previously mentioned, the folding phone will come with a free pair of Galaxy Buds. These earphones have been create in collaboration with acoustics experts at AKG. They can connect to the device via Bluetooth and the brand claims they bring an immersive, rich and realistic sound experience.
Finally, the leather case for the W20 5G is made from Nordic calf leather for high durability and a delicate feel.
