NetEase employee reveal new game for Sony PS5 & PS4

According to recent information from a Netease employee, Knives Out, the free to play battle royale game from Chinese tech giant Netease, could be coming to PS5. Netease Department Art Director/ Product Manager, Vincent Chi, lists Knives Out as a project in “full development” for PS5 and PS4. This was spotted in his description. However, after it caught the eyes of the internet, the information was updated to “SONY PlayStation® Console”. The new description makes it less specific. Nevertheless, a current search for the Netease employee LinkedIn account suggests that it is no longer available.

With the latest information, it appears that Knives Out is the next probable game for the upcoming PS5. Interestingly, there is no mention of this game for Microsoft’s Xbox Series X. As of now, we do not know what the PS5 will look like. However, Microsoft’s Xbox Series X design is out officially.

If this game is coming to PS4, there is a good chance that it will be compatible with PS5. Many thanks to the PS5 backward compatibility, which ensures that many PS4 games are playable on the console.
