Earlier this month, Huawei launched its yet another mid-range smartphone dubbed Huawei Nova 6 SE in its homeland i.e. China. At the time of launch, the company didn’t reveal any information on availability. Well, the device is now available for purchase in the country for a price tag of CNY 2,199 (roughly $315). The smartphone is available in a single 8GB RAM variant and three color variants namely Magic Night Black, Snow Sky, and Forest Green. As of now, the device has only made its way to the Chinese market. We might see the phone heading towards the global market in the coming months. Coming to the specifications, the Nova 6 SE flaunts a 6.4-inch IPS LCD display having a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and a pixel density of 398ppi. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a Kirin 810 chipset paired with a Mali-G52 GPU. The SoC is fabricated over the 7nm manufacturing process and has eight cores clocked at 2.77Ghz. The device has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard memory.
In terms of optics, there is a quad-camera module at the back consisting of 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro lens. For selfies, there is a 16MP front snapper housed inside the punch hole cutout. Powered by 4,200mAh battery packed inside, Huawei Nova 6 SE runs on the Android 10 based EMUI 10 operating system. The phone supports 40W fast charging. Other features include dual-band WiFi, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB Type-C port.
