We are about to end the year and the leaks begin to focus on the high-end smartphones of 2020. We have already been able to analyze all the battery and screen developments of the Huawei P40. But if there is a device on which the leaks has been focusing on, it is the Samsung Galaxy S11 +. A few weeks ago, the first renderings of what looked like one of the strangest cameras we had ever seen appeared. Now, the same leaker that leaked it has confirmed the presence of a new design.
OnLeaks surprised everyone a few weeks ago with the supposed final design of a Samsung Galaxy S11 + that seemed most curious. The apparent lack of order of the rear sensors was the feature that stood out the most about an appearance that did not quite convince everyone. Today, the well-known leaker has decided to share a new image. In which everything appears in a much more orderly way.
Galaxy S11 +: Same modules, different order
Next up, the #GalaxyS11Plus…😏
It appears the renders I shared one month ago were based upon a first stage prototype which had different rear camera layout.
Here an updated render based upon the latest prototype I got and which depict what I assume is the final configuration… pic.twitter.com/IhUWdQh9JN— Steve H.McFly (@OnLeaks) December 27, 2019
Gizchina News of the week
The famous leaker does not always have to be right. From the beginning, it seemed strange that a mobile such as the Samsung Galaxy S11 + arrived with a rear module with the sensors so extremely messy. In principle, many users justified the placement of these lenses. In favor of quality improvement and the loss of an attractive design. Now, it has been OnLeaks itself that has admitted that the previous renders belonged to an initial project.
On this occasion, the new leaks denote an improvement in the order of the sensors. Now we could be faced with the definitive design of a Samsung Galaxy S11 + that continues to maintain the gigantic module. But that looks much more at the symmetry than the previously leaked model. We find a total of four cameras, three of them aligned vertically and a complementary one located on the right next to the LED flash. In this way, everything is much more grouped, giving the mobile a completely different air.
As we have seen in other models, the Galaxy S11 + would arrive with an “L” shaped camera design. That clearly highlights the sensor dedicated to the famous optical zoom. At the moment, the South Korean company has not wanted to confirm this appearance. But everything seems to indicate that it is the definitive design.
It is worth to mention that Like every year, Samsung will announce its next-gen flagship smartphone next year in the month of February. Considering the previous naming nomenclature, the device should come with the Galaxy S11 moniker. Well, that is what we thought since the appearance of the first information on the web. It seems like the company is planning to not follow the usual itinerary. If the recent report is to be believed, the next Galaxy flagship might actually launch as the Galaxy S20.
