Back in September, Oppo announced its budget smartphone dubbed Oppo A5 2020 in the Indian market. The device was initially launched in two variants – 3GB+64GB and 4GB+64GB options. The smartphone maker has now added yet another variant that packs 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage inside. As you might have guessed already, the phone comes with the same internal hardware and specifications. Coming to the pricing first, the new 6GB RAM variant comes with a price tag of INR 14,990 which is roughly $210.
Apart from this, the company has also announced a price cut on the base variant of the phone which now costs INR 11,990 (roughly $198).

Oppo A5 2020: Specs, Features
To recall, Oppo A5 2020 features a large 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution 1600×720 pixels and a waterdrop notch housing the selfie camera. The display comes with a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ on top. Under the hood, it runs on the Snapdragon 665 chipset coupled with up Adreno 610 GPU. There is a 6GB RAM and up to 128GB onboard memory. In terms of software, we’re looking at ColorOS 6.0.1 based on the Android 9.0 Pie operating system.
For imaging, there is a quad-camera module at the back consisting of 12MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide lens, 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, there is an 8MP front snapper housed inside the waterdrop notch. All of these are backed by a whopping 5,000mAh battery packed inside. For security, there is a physical fingerprint sensor located on the back along with software-based Face Unlock. Other features include Dolby Atmos, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Dual 4G VoLTE and dual stereo speakers.
