The OnePlus 7 Pro started receiving an Android 10 update back in September. The update reached OnePlus’ current flagship generation shortly after the official rollout of Android 10 by Google. Despite the fast response to the new Android rollout, the update hasn’t applied to all units of the flagship sold out there. Specifically, those phones sold by T-Mobile in the United States have been stuck on Android 9 Pie. Thankfully, it seems that T-Mobile’s clients won’t need to wait until 2020 to receive Android 10 since the update is rolling out for them today.

That’s a not surprise to see carriers delaying Android updates, however, this case has been simply astonishing. Despite the four months wait, owners of the carrier can finally enjoy the goodies brought by OxygenOS 10.0.1 update. Unfortunately, the update still packs the November security patch. This shows that OnePlus has yet to figure out how to quicker in delivering new security updates.
The update bring new improved system stability and general bug fixed. Worth noting that it’s a staged rollout, so it may take some days to reach all T-Mobile OnePlus 7 Pro units. However, what is a few days in comparison to four months of waiting? Take in mind that the update weighs around 1.9GB.
