Samsung kicked off the Android 10-based One UI 2.0 beta update for the Galaxy Note 9 last month. Since then, the company has been seeding a couple of updates for the 2018 flagship to address all the issues found in the software. The company showed a considerable speed with the recent betas and today it’s finally rolling out a stable update. That means that owners of the Note 9 will start 2020 running the latest Android version.
The Android 10 stable update sports N960FXXU4DSLB version number. It is currently only rolling for those who participated in the beta program. For that reason, the firmware weighs just 100MB. Of course, it will be a much bigger update for users who are still running Android 9 Pie. We believe that if no critical bug is found during the next days, then Samsung will push the update forward.

If you’re enrolled in the beta program, you can download the stable build on your Note 9 by heading over to the Settings >> Software Update Menu. As we said before, users who are still running Android Pie may have to wait some days to see the update notification.
With the stable Android 10 update reaching Note 9, the next flagships in line are the Galaxy S9 series. We believe that once that all its flagship portfolio is covered, Samsung will move forward to the mid-range series.
