While doing not too well in the smartphone business, Chinese tech giant – Lenovo – has obtained some rather good results with its notebooks in the past years.

Their expertise in the PC world is also probably why the company has been actively entering the field of 3C accessories. Among these, we find the two-way fast charging “business” power bank launched a while back, with support for 18W two-way PD fast charging, a 10000mAh battery capacity and a power button with a small red dot design. Today, Lenovo instead unveiled an upgrade of said device with the same dual-color design; all black with a small red button.

Specs wise, the power bank comes with two USB Type-A ports and an USB Type-C port with support for bi-directional PD fast charge. Meanwhile on the side we find a classic ThinkPad square port design; which according to the brand is more convenient for ThinkPad users. All the ports do work at the same time, so you can potentially charge four devices simultaneously.

Additionally, although the power bank is compact, the capacity is still around the same you’d find on a laptop. We’re indeed talking of a 48Wh lithium battery. The device is also high quality though, with the battery cells using BMW’s battery technology; which have a stable output and high energy endurance.

As far as fast charging is concerned, the power bank supports charging protocols such as PD, QC, Apple 2.4A, PE, AFC, FCP. The maximum output is 45W and it is achieved through PD fast charging.

Finally, Lenovo’ s power bank supports both desktop and portable charging modes, it can supply power to external devices while charging itself and it’s also available in a fancy completely red color variant. Sadly, the company did not reveal the price for the device; so stay tuned for further updates in the following days.
