Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi Watch Color early this week. However, the company didn’t give any details about the specifications but promised to do it later. Today, all the questions about the wearable will be answered since it has gone on sale in China. Users will get a colorful smartwatch with a beautiful round AMOLED display. Xiaomi also provides a new MIUI for Watch skin running atop of WearOS.
Xiaomi Mi Watch Color comes with a circular 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 454×454 pixels of resolution. The watch features a silicone strap that can be replaced with 6 other silicone ones and two leather options. In terms of fitness tracking, users can track 10 distinct sports. That includes cycling, mountain climbing, running and some other activities such as indoor and outdoor swimming.

The rest of the specs include GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC as well as heart-rate and sleep tracking. You can have a safe swim since the wearable is swim-proof up to 5 ATM. Worth noting that the battery is another of the watch’s strong points. It can last up to 14 days with a single charge. The battery is a 420mAh cell and can even last 22 days if you activate endurance mode.
The Mi Watch Color comes in Black, Silver and Gold colors. But there’s a multitude of strips to come with different colors and designs. Pricing is set at CNY 799 ($115) but Xiaomi hasn’t provided any info on international availability. However, we believe that this particular device can reach unprecedented popularity just like the Mi Band. So it’ll be just a matter of time until an international release.
