Leaks regarding the upcoming Huawei P40 series appear to never stop and today is no different. The latest come – as always – from Twitter, where a couple of alleged renders of P40 Pro cases have surfaced online.
Huawei P40 Pro Appears in Alleged Case Renders
As we can see in the images above, the Huawei 40 in its Pro version is found in a protective case with a carbon fiber look on the outside and a rubberized honeycomb material on the inside. So, there’s nothing too extraordinary about it, but we weren’t really interested in that.
What we’re actually interested in, is the design of the Huawei P40 Pro inside the case and these renders really give us a good glimpse at it. In particular, we can see the Huawei P40 Pro appears to feature a total of five cameras. Now, we do know any of the specs, but we can assume Huawei will provide the handset with a high-res primary – most likely 48MP or 64MP – a secondary ultra wide angle lens, a telephoto / periscope camera, a “cine” camera and an additional sensor (for macro or depth).

The four cameras, sitting inside an extra large rectangular camera module are then paired with a dual LED flash; along with the various autofocus sensors.
Moving onto the front of the device. The P40 Pro appears to boast a dual punch-hole camera design in the upper left corner. These will probably consists in a “normal fov” main and a secondary ultra wide angle lens.
As far as the rest of the hardware is concerned, the P40 Pro will equip the latest Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G SOC. A chipset that supports SA and NSA dual-mode 5G; making the P40 Pro the first 5G phone in the “P” series. The CPU also uses the industry’s most advanced 7nm + EUV process and integrates 5G Modem into the SOC for the first time.
