Lenovo has announced the Ideapad Duet Chromebook today amongst a flurry of other devices, a $300 budget detachable notebook cum tablet with modest specifications and modern design. The company displayed the detachable at the ongoing CES 2020 show floor in Las Vegas yesterday.
The Ideapad Duet Chromebook by Lenovo is unlike any other budget Chromebook. Although it has low-end specifications, the design of the device says something else. On first look, it resembles a tablet with its 10.1-inches FHD+ (1920 x 1200 pixels) display with up to 400-nits of brightness. The chassis is not cheap plastic as it features a dual-tone aluminium build and comes in silvery-blue and grey finishes. The detachable keyboard accessory which also happens to have a kickstand is included in the box. Additionally, it also has support for input through stylus but that needs to be bought separately.
