Xiaomi is busy keeping its promise of bringing MIUI 11 to all eligible smartphones. After providing an update for the old Mi 6, the Chinese company is bringing MIUI 11 for the 2017 Xiaomi Mi 8 SE. In contrast to the former, which has received an Android Pie-based MIUI 11, the Mi 8 SE update brings Android 10 to the table. This update is the stable version and it comes with the designation 11.0.1.0.QEBCNXM.
Since this is a stable update, we expect all apps and features to work seamlessly. It’s great to see the progress that Xiaomi is making with this release. The new update will provide another design overhaul to Xiaomi’s Android skin. It will start with softer app icons, a system-wide dark theme, a new Mi Lan Pro system font, and a further improved Always-On display mode. Besides that, there are several new animations, themes, and wallpapers coming along with MIUI 11. The Notification system was improved as well.

Xiaomi Mi 8 SE update is ready for a daily use
If you’re running a developer version of MIUI, you’ll receive the update via OTA. However, if you’re on a stable release, you’ll need to manually install the entire update in your Xiaomi Mi 8 SE. Take in mind that it weighs over 2GB.
This smartphone uses a 5.88-inch Samsung AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2244 × 1080. The back of the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE uses a 2.5D glass body, with a bright mirror surface and crystal texture. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 710 processor and a 3120 mAh battery.
