In this sense, it seems India will be the next big market switching to 5G. As some sources claim, the Redmi K30 5G smartphone has passed India’s BIS certification. In other words, this indicates that this phone is about to land in the Indian market.

January 9, 2020, a Redmi smartphone with a model number of ‘M2001G7AI’ appeared on the Indian BIS certification website. It introduces the Redmi K30 5G smartphone for sure.

However, this is the same version already released in China. Thus, we know everything about its key features. Say, the size of the Redmi K30 5G smartphone is 165.3 × 76.6 × 8.79mm and the weight is 208g. The phone adopts a 6.67-inch 120Hz dual-hole full-flow screen with a screen ratio of 20:9, a screen ratio of 91%, and a resolution of 2400 × 1080.

In terms of hardware, it is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor and a battery capacity of 4500mAh, which supports 30W fast charge. The company claims that it can be fully charged in 57 minutes. In terms of camera, the rear quad-camera consists of a 64MP + 8MP + 5MP + 2MP combination. The front dual-camera boosts of a 20MP AI CMOS.

Finally, the release date and price of this phone in the Indian market has yet to be officially announced.
