The Indian manufacturer Lava Mobiles has just a new smartphone dubbed Lava Z71. It comes to compete directly in the low-end segment, and we curious to see how a National brand can compete in a market dominated by Foreign companies like Xiaomi and Realme.
Lava Z71 specifications
The Lava Z71 is powered by MediaTek’s Helio A22 Chipset. We know it’s an old chipset, but at least it has been made with the power-efficient 12nm process. Moreover, the handset flaunts a 5.7-inch HD+ panel which has a waterdrop notch serving as a house for the 5MP selfie snapper. Moving around to the back, we have a dual-camera setup comprising of a 13MP main shooter coupled with a 2MP depth helper. Still, on the back, we have an LED flash helper and the phone’s fingerprint scanner. That’s a point where the Z71 moves forward the competition, for instance, Xiaomi’s Redmi 8a, company’s sub $100 offering for the Indian market lacks a fingerprint scanner.
