Huawei P40 Pro to arrive on March 26 – Camera details exposed


Chinese manufacturing giant, Huawei, will unveil the Huawei P40 series in the coming weeks. However, the latest render of this smartphone clearly shows some detail camera spec of this device. First off, we can see that this device use ceramic material and its in black and white colours. Like we already know, it comes with a dual punch-hole camera as well as a Penta rear camera configuration. In the latest render, we can see the Leica branding in the Penta camera. According to reports, this is the Huawei P40 Pro Premium Edition and it is expected to arrive on March 26.

Furthermore, between the ultra-wide angle and telephoto cameras is the VARIO-SUMMILUX-H 1:1.8-4.0/18-240 equivalence ASPH Lens. The periscope lens adopts 2 mirrors and a better field of view to achieve a 10x optical zoom. As for the lower version of the P40 Pro, it uses a quad-rear camera setup. We already know that the main sensor is a 52MP camera. Other features that this render includes a USB Type-C Port, primary microphone, and a speaker grill. Since there is no visible fingerprint sensor, it should obviously be on the display.

From what we know, the Huawei P40 Pro comes with a 6.5-inch OLED curved screen display. Under the hood, we have a Kirin 990 SoC. This phone also has up to 12GB of RAM, a battery capacity of about 5000 mAh (support for 50W HUAWEI SuperCharge), and a wired / wireless dual flash charging. It will run on EMUI 10 on top of Android 10 but still without Google Mobile Services.

As for the paint job, the latest report shows only two colours – white and black. However, previous speculations suggests that we could have up to five colours for the P40 series. The colours include black, gold, silver gray, blue, and the sky. All the paint jobs use a gradient design. We expect the Premium Edition to have just two colours – white and black.
