HP Launches New Lineup of Monitors with Advanced Docking & WebCam

HP Monitors

HP recently added a new series of monitors focussing more on the corporate and business consumers. The brand has launched two different models – HP E24D G4 and HP E27 G4. The key highlight of these monitors is the high-end docking capabilities along with multiple connectivity options. As the name suggests, the E24D G4 features a 23.8-inch IPS panel with Full HD+ resolution (1920×1080 pixels). The latter, on the other hand, comes with a 27-inch IPS display with QHD+ resolution (2560×1440 pixels).

Coming to the advanced docking capabilities, both the displays come with GbE port, pop-up webcam and DisplayPort input & output. This means that you can daisy chain another LCD with these monitors. Furthermore, you also get a quad-port USB 3.0 hub along with 100W USB-C Power delivery. Since this new lineup is designed for corporate usage, the company is offering a slew of network manageability features. This includes OCI, eTag, MAC address pass-through, PXE boot, WoL and LAN/WLAN switching.

Both the HP monitors come with thin bezels making it easier for users to create an immersive multi-display configuration. The monitor stand is basically designed for limited spaces, therefore, it comes with an adjustable stand. You can control height, tilt and swivel as well. You can rotate the display to portrait mode which would be useful if you want to see long texts such as documentations.

Coming to the pricing, the smaller display comes with a price tag of $349 while the larger variant will set you back around $479. Consumers can purchase the monitors directly from the brand later this month. This means that the monitors might not be sold via online retailers.
