Samsung to launch two foldable smartphones by this summer

Samsung plans to launch a real Galaxy Fold successor in the second quarter of 2020. This is in addition to its Galaxy Z Flip, Samsung foldable flip phone which will be presented at the same time as the new Galaxy S20 range.

That is to say between April and June. A period which in fact corresponds to that initially planned for the first Galaxy Fold last year. Finally, the smartphone had to be pushed back for several months due to many fragility concerns.

This year, Samsung should therefore launch two foldable smartphones in the first half of the year. With the presentation of the Galaxy Z Flip on February 11, at the same time as the new Galaxy S20 range. In addition to a second Galaxy Fold three months later. As Max Weinbach points out, according to the various rumors circulating about it, the Galaxy Fold 2 could ship an 8-inch screen, a 108-megapixel camera, an ultra-thin glass screen, an S-Pen stylus, a Snapdragon 865 chip and 5G compatibility.
