However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that all of them will receive the latest version of Android. The company is able to bring most of its MIUI features to several devices no matter the version of Android they are running. Despite this fact, Mi fans have been eagerly waiting for Android 10-based MIUI 11 on their smartphones, and Xiaomi is slowly providing. Apparently, the next in line for Android 10 update is the entry-level Redmi 8A.
The Redmi 8A received an official MIUI 11 update back in November. Although the custom skin came with a plethora of new features and visuals, it’s still based on Android 9 Pie. The Redmi 8A is an entry-level smartphone so it’s easy to think that there’s no much priority in bringing Android 10. However, there is good news since the handset has been spotted on GeekBench with the latest Android version.

Now, with Android 10, users will be able to enjoy it for another year without regret.
