In the face of the new pandemic ravaging China and other parts of the world, there have been some other developments. While some are honestly trying to help with the situation, there are always those who will be nothing but treacherous. Since most coronaviruses spread the same way other cold-causing viruses do (coughing and sneezing, by touching an infected person’s hands or face, or by touching things such as doorknobs that infected people have touched), anti-coronavirus mask and gloves have become a very important commodity overnight. However, some stores are taking advantage of the situation and are selling bad anti-coronavirus masks.
Some Chinese merchants are selling “bad” anti-coronavirus mask
Earlier today, Alibaba exposed 7 merchants that are selling bad anti-coronavirus masks. These masks are either expired, counterfeit, or inferior. In addition, some of these merchants also drive up the prices of the masks. Earlier, Taobao issued a statement saying that all merchants selling masks should not increase prices or risk severe punishment.

What is a coronavirus?
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that can cause respiratory illnesses such as the common cold. Most of us get the infection at some point in our lives but the symptoms are mild. This is is a common virus worldwide but usually among animals. However, a few of them also affect humans. In rare cases, as we have now, coronaviruses can evolve and spread from animals to humans. When this happens, the symptoms are quite severe and dangerous.
