Gizchina News of the week
POCO X2 120Hz refresh rate display
According to XDA-Developer Editor-in-Chief, Mishaal Rahman, the Poco X2 will feature a 120Hz high refresh rate display. When the teaser image is opened with a 120Hz smartphone, POCO’s snide remark changes. XDA believes that the changes are because this device will support a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, Flipkart already has a landing page for this smartphone. Thus there is reason to believe that this smartphone may be exclusive to Flipkart, at least at launch.
As of now, Poco already has a website with a few details for the Poco X2. According to the website, this smartphone will come with a high refresh rate display and liquid cooling. Also, a render of the charging port shows that it will come with a USB Type-C as well as a headphone jack on the bottom.
At this point, it is highly possible that the Poco X2 is simply a rebranded Redmi K30 4G. Looking at the image of the bottom edge, this phone feels more like the Redmi K30 4G. According to recent speculations, the Poco X2 will be powered by a Snapdragon 730G SoC. It will also have up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The latest report suggests a 120Hz high refresh rate display but this is not official for now. Other features are a 4500mAh battery with support for 27W fast charging. As of now, there is no official confirmation or disclaimer from POCO on the latest speculations.
