Huawei will lower the prices for Huawei P40

Huawei P40 Pro

Although Huawei’s situation with the United States still makes it impossible for it to include Google’s applications and services in its new phones, the brand does not seem to resign and continues to work on new devices. At this point, the three models of the Huawei P40 series have leaked in press images of higher quality, so physically, we have little doubt about it. Its characteristics have also been leaking little by little but today it’s time to talk about its price.

In the world of leaks, there are some more reliable sources than others and in regards to Huawei, there is a user who has never disappointed us and is almost 100% reliable as far as this brand is concerned. Yesterday he was talking about the Huawei P40, specifically about its price, which ensures that it will be lower than its predecessors.

The Huawei P40 could start at 599 euros (about $659)

Gizchina News of the week

Year after year, we see how different brands join the trend of increasing the prices of their phones. This is also related to an increase in their quality, but of course, when your main flaw is that you lack Google Play services, it is impossible to justify comparing you with similar phones that do not suffer that same problem. We already talk about this with the price of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro on arrival, which exceeded $900 and, despite the good phone it is, it is hard to justify a normal user looking for a flagship and who will not know how to install Google services.

Well, according to this leaker, Huawei would have changed the strategy and lowered the prices of the Huawei P40 series compared to its predecessors. It is not yet clear at all from what prices we could see them, although this user would have made an approximation. First of all, we remember the official sales prices of the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro: 799 and 999 euros, respectively for their base versions.

Huawei P40 Pro

Well, this year we could see how the Huawei P40 arrives for about 599 euros (about $659) to the market, a price well below that of its predecessor, while the best of the three models (Huawei P40 Premium) Would reach 999 euros (about $1,099). Therefore, the P40 Pro would be about 799 euros (about $879), approximately and supposedly. Anyway, these prices are not official, they have not even been filtered, they are assumptions of this leaker. But what is clear, is that Huawei will lower prices with its next flagship. This is probably to attract more public, despite the absence of Google services inside.

Information is not precise. All Huawei phones will still continue with Android. In fact, the os will be Android 10. The only drawback is the Play Store will not be included.
