Samsung Galaxy M30s Gets a Permanent Price Cut by up to $28 in India

Back in September 2018, Samsung launched its budget smartphone dubbed Samsung Galaxy M30s in the Indian market. The device was announced in two storage variants – 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB options. The first variant was priced at INR 13,999 (roughly 196 USD) while the top variant came with a price tag of INR 16,999 (roughly USD 238). The device has now received its first price cut in India by up to $28 depending on the variant.

The base variant having 4GB RAM now costs INR 12,999 (roughly $181) with a price cut of INR 1,000 (roughly $14). The top variant, on the other hand, now comes with a price tag of INR 14,999 (roughly $209). This means that the top variant has got a price cut of INR 2,000 i.e. $28. As mentioned earlier, this is the permanent price cut. Interested buyers can see the new pricing on Amazon India and Samsung’s official online store.

Samsung Galaxy M30s: Specs, Features

The Galaxy M30s comes with a 6.4-inch AMOLED Infinity-U display with waterdrop notch and Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the phone runs on Exynos 9611 chipset paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard memory. The internal storage is expandable via MicroSD slot that sits at the SIM 2 slot. In terms of optics, there is a triple 48MP+8MP+5MP camera module at the back. For selfies, there is a single 16MP front snapper. All of this is backed by a massive 6,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support over USB Type-C. Coming to the software, the phone runs on Android 9 Pie with One UI 2.0 skin on top.
