We all know that the Samsung Galaxy S20 will be presented on February 11, but its release date was not yet certain. That said, it is the South Korean company itself who now comes to unravel this mystery.
On Samsung’s global website, it is already possible to reserve a place to start the pre-sale phase of the new flagships. On that same page, it is also said that deliveries will start on March 6.
For the second consecutive year, Samsung will introduce three new members to the Galaxy S family. They will be the Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus and Galaxy S20 Ultra.
Galaxy S20 release date confirmed
This trio will share the same design philosophy, which means three smartphones with very low margins and a hole in the screen, in the center, for the front camera. In the rear, we will have cameras with three or four lenses, depending on the model in question.
The Galaxy S20 will be the most restrained of the three, as it features three lenses on its rear. The rest will have another ToF lens, which will be particularly important for portrait photos.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra will distinguish itself from the rest by its huge 6.9-inch screen and a periscopic lens capable of making a hybrid zoom of up to 100x. Its optical zoom will stay at 5x.
