Recently, Microsoft product manager, Naim Ayat’s Linkedin profile page reveals some information about the Windows Core OS. He wrote

On the team building the Windows Core OS: the basis for future iterations of Windows 10, Windows Mixed Reality (HoloLens), and Xbox system software.

From this information, WCOS is indeed an operating system that spans multiple devices. From previous disclosures, WCOS is an operating system that spans various physical ends such as PCs, tablets, smart devices, and mobile. Using the Composable Shell (C-Shell / CShell) modular interactive interface to achieve a cross-platform interface. Around CShell, WCOS has derived many different versions (subsystems/modules) for different devices.

Microsoft is developing a new generation of operating system Windows Core OS (WCOS). However, there is no official information on this system for now. Nevertheless, there is no official information on when WCOS will be official. By the way, Naim’s information also shows that Microsoft’s dual-screen PC device, Surface Neo, will arrive in the holiday of 2020. This should be towards the end of this year.
