Apple has issued a brief statement today announcing it will be closing all its physical stores, corporate offices and contact centers in Mainland China. The move will start at the end of the next week. You’ll probably know why Apple is doing such a thing. Unless that you’ve been living in a cave, you’ll know that there’s a huge Coronavirus Outbreak ongoing in China.

According to Apple, the move has been motivated by “an abundance of caution and based on the latest advice from leading health experts”, the move aims to limit the exposure of company employees to the virus outbreak. If you need to buy any of Apple products you can still get them via the online store in China.
