According to Huawei Consumer Business CEO, Yu Chengdong, the Huawei P40 series will arrive in March this year. As more details hit the web, users now need information on the specific launch date of this series. Information out of China suggests that the Huawei P40 series will touch down on March 26. Just like other recent flagships from Huawei, the P40 series will rely heavily on the Chinese market. Nevertheless, this series will also be available in select markets outside China.
Recall that on March 26, 2019, Huawei released the Huawei P30 series in Paris. The report claims that the company will most likely launch a new generation of flagship models on the same day. As of now, we can not ascertain the reliability of the information. Thus it is best to take it with a pinch of salt.

Huawei P40 series speculations
Huawei P40 series will arrive in three versions which include Huawei P40, P40 Pro and P40 lite. These smartphones will use a punch-hole full-screen design. While the P40 and P40 Lite will use a straight-screen design, the P40 Pro will come with a hyperboloid screen. In addition, the first two will come with the Kirin 990 chip (+ an external Balong 5000 5G baseband which supports SA/NSA dual-mode 5G).
In terms of cameras, the P40 will have three rear cameras, while the P40 Pro will be more aggressive. It will have 64MP main camera + 20MP super wide-angle + 8MP telephoto + TOF Leica cameras. Furthermore, we also expect a dual prism periscope zoom lens that supports up to 10x optical zoom. As for the configuration of the lite version, it is not clear yet, but it must be lower than the P40.
It is reported that the new P40 series will arrive on March 26. This series will continue to use a “never seen” design, with better camera quality and better performance. We will wait and see more details.
