Yesterday, Ni Fei, President of Nubia Technology Co., Ltd. announced on Weibo that the Nubia Red Magic 5G gaming phone launch will hold online. Due to the Coronavirus situation ravaging parts of China, it is not really safe to hold huge public gatherings. To this end, many Chinese manufacturers are organizing online launch events.

In terms of configuration, the Nubia Red Magic 5G will use a 144Hz refresh rate screen as well as a LPDDR5 memory. The maximum capacity will probably be 16GB. For the charging power, the Red Magic 5G mobile phone has a charging power of more than 80W at 8% power. In terms of heat dissipation, the Red Magic R & D team combined the Red Magic built-in fans to create an “air-cooled turbo fast charge” solution. When the temperature and current reach a certain threshold, the built-in fan automatically starts. This accelerates the cooling of the battery and the entire device. As a gaming phone, cooling is very important. Thus this ensures that the high-power fast charging is more durable. It also ensures that it achieves the full capacity of getting more power in lesser time.
Nubia is not the first Chinese manufacturer to cancel an offline event. The flagship Xiaomi Mi 10 series will also hold its launch event online.
