Motorola Razr foldable phone will have a golden edition


Motorola recently announced that the Motorola Razr, the world’s first clamshell foldable phone. This device is currently available in the US for $1500 but only started shipping today. According to @evleaks, the Motorola Razr will also launch a golden version.

Motorola’s RAZR foldable phone was officially unveiled in November last year. It uses an up-and-down folding design with an external screen size of 2.7 inches with a resolution of 800 × 600. The stretch-out display is 6.2 inches with a resolution of 2142 × 876. This smartphone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It runs on Google’s Android 9 Pie while the battery capacity is 2510 mAh. According to Motorola Razr, the folding reliability reaches 100,000 times.

In the US, the Motorola Razr comes with a $1499 price tag via Verizon. However, we do not know how much this new golden edition will cost. It is worth noting that Liu Jun, executive vice president of Lenovo Group, revealed in a media interview during CES 2020 that the folding screen Moto Razr will be released in the Chinese market at the end of the second quarter of this year. The Chinese version of this smartphone will support 5G network.
