Oppo Find X2 glass protector reveals punch-hole cutout and curved edges

Oppo Find X2

Oppo is gearing up to launch the Oppo Find X2 and X2 Pro in the next month. For that reason, we’re expecting the leaks to reach a new level of intensity in the coming days. Based on this, we can say that it already started with a new photo of the alleged screen glass of the vanilla X2 leaked giving us an early look at what to expect.

First of all, it is important to point out that this display features a tall 20:9 aspect ratio and a punch hole in the top left corner. Moreover, it comes with pronounced “curvy” edges. However, they aren’t quite as extreme as the “waterfall displays” that are present in devices such as the Vivo NEX 3 5G and the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. According to reports, it will sport an OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and QHD+ resolution. After the rise of taller displays, we can say the race for high-resolution in smartphones has slowed. Now, Oppo wants to bring the technology back to the table. The company has been one of the first companies to ship a smartphone with a QHD panel back in the days of the Oppo Find 7 series.

This leak, as well as the information about the display’s specifications, came directly from the very reputed IceUniverse. Thanks to previous information, we also know that this smartphone will ship with the Snapdragon 865 SoC alongside a custom M1 co-processor. Moreover, this phone will include a triple camera setup lead by Sony’s upcoming 48MP IMX689 shooter.

The Oppo Find X2 will debut with SuperVOOC technology

The Oppo Find X2 is said to debut with Oppo’s 65W SuperVOOC fast-charging since the company’s VP, Brian Shen, stated that a 120Hz display and SuperVOOC can’t be separated. The executive revealed that the upcoming flagship will launch in March. With the number of leaks popping out everywhere, we’ll probably know everything before the official unveiling.
