Today, Micron Technology said that the world’s first mass-produced low-power LPDDR5 DRAM chip will be on the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 10. Xiaomi’s latest flagship series will touch down in a few days and this smartphone will not be cheap. According to Lei Jun, Xiaomi now focuses on making better products. Redmi can handle the performance-price ratio fans. Xiaomi’s CEO also responded to a recent poll on Weibo which seeks to know netizens’ thoughts on the configuration (RAM and storage) of this series.
According to Lei Jun, a vast majority of users who buy flagship phones now want 8GB RAM or more. To this end, the Xiaomi Mi 10 will not have a 6GB + 128G configuration. All the models starts from 8GB and they all use LPDDR5 memory. As for the storage, it appears that the lowest will be 128GB. Lei Jun asked netizens to forget the possibility of an 8GB + 64GB model.
