While we wait for Chinese phone maker – Vivo – to bring out the big guns at the Mobile World Congress 2020 taking place in Barcelona on February 24th, the company has decided to launch a new low-end device in the Bangladesh market – meet the Vivo Y91C 2020.
Vivo Y91C 2020 Launched in Bangladesh with Helio P22, 6.22-inch Display & More
Vivo’s Y91C 2020 is an extremely entry-level phone coming with the old MediaTek Helio P22 processor; along with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The hardware fuels an averagely sized 6.22-inch display with a resolution of 720×1520 pixels, aspect ratio of 19:9 and a waterdrop notch.
Photography wise, the handset packs a single 13MP camera with f/2.2 aperture on the back. While on the front we find a 5MP selfie snapper.
Gizchina News of the week
The Vivo Y91C 2020 is powered by a 4030mAh capacity which can be charged by the microUSB port at the bottom. The smartphone is quite light at 163.5 grams of weight and relatively thin with its dimensions being 155.11 × 75.09 × 8.28mm.
Finally, Vivo’s phone is available in a blue to black gradient color variant, it sports a headphone jack and runs Funtouch OS 4.5 based on Android 8.1. As for the price, the Vivo Y91C 2020 will be sold in Bangladesh for 9990 Bangladeshi Taka, which is about $117 at the current exchange rates.
In our opinion, the Y91C 2020 will be a very hard sell considering the existence of great alternatives such as the recently launched Realme C3 and the rumored Redmi 9A.
