Everything is already known even before its official announcement, so why wait? This must have been said to the marketing team of Samsung who decided to broadcast the first advertisement for the Galaxy Z Flip on Sunday evening.

Samsung surprised everyone by unveiling an advertisement for the Galaxy Z Flip, its flip phone, during the Academy Awards.

We must admit that all the leaks that have accumulated for months do not leave anything very interesting at the official presentation during the keynote “Unpacked” which will take place today. Samsung has therefore decided not to wait to present a smartphone that will be released in 3 days and for which the manufacturer aims to sell 1.5 million units this year. The 30-second video highlights the fun side of the device against the background of “Comic Strip” music by Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Bardot.

But it is not the only advertising spot that has been unveiled. The second is just as unexpected as the first, but not for the same reasons. Indeed, it is an advertisement for a special series Thom Browne, the ready-to-wear brand of the American designer of the same name. This exclusive model has a luxurious box which in addition to the smartphone includes among other things a pair of Galaxy Buds + and a Galaxy Watch Active 2 watch, all in the colors of the designer. The price is not disclosed, but it should greatly exceed $1,400 for the phone alone.
