Xiaomi delays the global launch of the Mi 10 after the cancellation of the MWC 2020

The news came last night after a whole day of uncertainties. The GSMA has canceled the Mobile World Congress in view of the situation generated around it, mainly motivated by the outbreak of the coronavirus. The organizers communicated the cancellation without announcing an alternative date, after the massive escape of great companies who fell down day after day before the fair. Xiaomi is one of the companies that, despite the virus, had confirmed its attendance at the fair. After its cancellation, the brand has sent a statement indicating that it cancels its global event scheduled for February 23, for the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 10, postponing it until further notice.

XIAOMI DELAYS GLOBAL PRODUCT LAUNCH ON FEBRUARY 23

According to Xiaomi, they are aware and understand the decision of the GSMA to cancel the MWC 2020 looking for maximum safety of the participants. Xiaomi will also delay its global presentation event of the Mi 10, which was scheduled for February 23, a day before the MWC.

Today we have heard about the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, two high-end devices that have been presented in China and are expected to be the first landing with the Snapdragon 865 series in the global markets.

At the moment there are no estimated dates for the global launch of these devices, just the confirmation that we will see them arrive in a separate event in Europe at a later date.
