Samsung has been moving forward to its fast charging technology in the recent flagships. The company quickly came from 15W on the Galaxy S10 line to 25W and 45W on Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+, respectively. Now with the recently released Galaxy S20 Ultra that retained the 45W charger, the company improved the charging capabilities. Reportedly, the S20 Ultra built-in 5,000mAh battery goes from 0% to 100% in just 58min with the optional 45W charger.
That’s an impressive feat, after all, the Galaxy Note 10+ takes a few minutes over an hour with a 25W charger and a few under an hour with a 45W charger. Worth noting that the Note 10+ flagship is packed with a 4,300mAh battery. Worth noting that batteries can use a higher wattage when they are low on charge and reduce the charging rate as they fill up. The S20 Ultra likely keeps the higher charging rates much longer than the Note 10+ allowing it to fill its larger battery in the same time.
