Earlier this week, Samsung finally unveiled its much-anticipated Galaxy S20 lineup and Galaxy Z Flip. The Galaxy Z Flip is the company’s second iteration of the foldable smartphone. Unlike its predecessor, the Z Flip folds upside down just like the Motorola Razr. Soon after the launch, the device went on its first sale in the US and South Korea.

Turns out, the device sold like hotcakes and ended up out of stock soon after. This means that if you are planning to buy the foldable device today, you will not be able to get your hands on one. The smartphone is out of stock on the company’s official US website along with on Best Buy. In fact, various reports indicated that the device is even the offline store does not have a single unit in stock.

The same story goes for the company’s home market i.e. South Korea. As per some reports, the Galaxy Z Flip went out of stock in just 30 minutes through local carrier LG U Plus. For those who’re unaware, Samsung manufactured around 20,000 devices as a part of its first batch. These figures are ten times greater than that of the previous-gen foldable device.

It seems like the all-new Galaxy Z Flip is doing fairly well in both the markets. This suggests that consumers have an increasing interest in the foldable smartphone this time around. This could largely be due to the cheaper price tag as compared to the predecessor. Furthermore, the all-new iteration comes with an improved design and a quite pocketable form factor. It would be interesting to see how well the device performs in other major markets.

With that said, Samsung should replenish the stock in the coming days and hopefully, you will be able to get your hands on the device if you were not able to do so already.
