The Honor 9X smartphone, which recently made its debut in India, is getting a new color variant globally. The company is bringing out a new color option for the Honor 9X in Emerald Green finish. Honor announced the new color launch of the Honor 9X across its social media channel online.

The company did not reveal the price of the new Emerald Green color variant, neither any likely availability release date. The difference is only in the color as the rest of the specifications remain the same. It still features a glass back design with an aluminum frame and comes in the same RAM/storage options.

The Honor Global Twitter account said in a statement, ‘Thank you for showing your interest in Honor devices. We suggest you to kindly stay tuned with our official pages to know more about product availability or any news regarding availability.’

In addition to the Emerald Green variant, the smartphone is also available in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue color options. While the Honor 9X in China comes in even more colors including, Magic Night Black, Charm Sea Blue, Charm Red, and Icelandic White.

Honor 9X Specifications

The Honor 9X a 6.59-inch LTPS IPS LCD screen with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The device gets powered by HiSilicon Kirin 710F SoC paired with a Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. It also comes with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB storage. The smartphone runs on EMUI 9.1 based Android 9 Pie OS and will get EMUI 10 based Android 10 OS soon.

The Honor 9X smartphone features a triple-camera setup at the back. That has a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture. There is also an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel Motorized pop-up camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The handset also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 4,000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
