Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is all set to release a new Lite version of the last year’s 9X. We already saw a promo image of the Honor 9X Lite a few days ago. While the device’s internals was still a mystery on that occasion, there’s a new development today. The referred device appeared in a listing by a Pakistani retailer. It confirms key specifications and the price.
Gizchina News of the week
The listing reveals that the 9X Lite will boast a 6.5-inch FullView display with a 16MP selfie cam. Moving around to the back, there is a 48MP main camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor. Moreover, the device boasts a capacitive fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, we have the Kirin 710 ensuring horsepower along with 4GB of RAM. There is also 128GB of internal storage. Everything will be powered by a 3,750mAh battery.
The dimensions come in at 160.4 x 76.6 x 7.8 mm. Unfortunately, the handset will ship with Android 9.0 Pie-based software. Hopefully, Honor won’t take much time to bring the Android 10-based version of its MagicUI to the Honor 9X Lite. The Pakistani website lists the device for PKR 31,999 (~$207). It is already up for pre-order despite the lack of any official launch date or other information from Honor’s side.
