Vivo Z6 5G with punch-hole display teased to launch on March 6

Smartphone maker, Vivo, has just teased the launch of its much-anticipated smartphone, the Vivo Z6 5G, in China. As part of the teaser, the company also showcased the design of the upcoming device. Taking a closer look, we get to know that the smartphone will feature a punch-hole display. The teaser also showed the front and back of the device.

In addition, we also see the quad-camera setup paired with a Dual tone-LED flash at the upper right of the device’s back. Additionally, the device is likely getting a physical fingerprint scanner on the rear. Vivo has also added a curved glass on the back with a gradient color finish. The smartphone will be available in three color options, including White, Blue, and Black.

Vivo also confirmed the Z6 5G to have a Snapdragon 765G SoC with a Snapdragon X52 5G modem and Adreno 620 GPU. The Vivo Z6 5G comes listed to pack a 5000 mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. The teaser also confirmed the smartphone to feature dual-mode 5G support and PC-grade liquid cooling for heat dissipation.

While, there are no further specifications detailed yet. The device, however, does have a launch event date for February 28, later this month. The Vivo Z6 5G will later go on pre-sale starting February 29 in the Chinese market. And as we head closer to its anticipated launch, the handset is likely to leak further, revealing more specifications.

Vivo’s upcoming Z6 5G Expected features

The Vivo Z6 5G is releasing as the successor to the prior Vivo Z5 device, which made its debut back in July 2019. The Z6 will run on the latest Android 10 operating system with Vivo’s custom UI FunTouch skin on top. The smartphone is likely to come equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie camera housed inside the punch-hole display cut out.
