Vivo is currently working on its third iteration of Next smartphone namely Vivo NEX 3 5G. As the name suggests, the device will come with a 5G connectivity option. A couple of days ago, the device made its way to the TENAA listing revealing some key hardware. The phone has now stopped by at GeekBench certification. As expected, it has revealed key hardware along with benchmark scores.
Vivo NEX 3 5G Surfaces on GeekBench, Launch Seems Imminent
Vivo NEX 3 5G has surfaced on the GeekBench listing with the model number V1950A. The device was running the latest flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset paired with 8GB RAM. Furthermore, it was using the latest Android 10 operating system as well. It is worth mentioning that the listing doesn’t mention the name of the chipset.

In the motherboard section, you will see the name Kona which points towards the latest SD 865 SoC. Also, the benchmark scores fall in line with the chipset. Speaking of scores, the device managed to score 921 points in the single-core performance while it scored 3369 points in the multi-core benchmark.
Expected Specs, Features
Since the device has now hit the GeekBench listing, we’re speculating that the device might launch anytime soon. We’re expecting more details on the same to come forward in the coming days. To recall, Vivo NEX 3 5G is expected to arrive with 6.89-inch AMOLED display panel with an FHD+ resolution and pop-up camera mechanism. The device should come with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB internal memory.
In terms of optics, there should be a triple camera module at the back consisting of 64MP primary sensor, 12MP telephoto lens and 13MP ultrawide angle lens. The device should also come with 20x zoom capabilities. All of these will be backed by a 4,250mAh battery packed inside with fast charging support.
