Many companies will be revealing new smartphones in March as a desperate move after MWC 2020 cancellation. The first days of the next month will be quite busy for every smartphone enthusiast out there. Realme, the fastest-growing brand of 2019 isn’t an exception, after all, the company will take off the wraps of Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro on March 5. The firm has been posting a teaser to keep the hype alive and to tease some of the capabilities of the two phones. However, the design has been kept in the shadows, until now.
Thanks to a popular leakster from the Chinese social media Weibo, now we have a couple of press renders revealing the Realme 3 Pro in three color variants.
Gizchina News of the week
The three variants in question have Purple, Orange and Blue as predominant colors. The Purple and Orange ones almost certainly star in the obscure teaser image about the 64MP camera. There is a lighting effect with some gradient details in the back. Apart from the gorgeous design, the Realme 6 Pro will also feature a 90Hz screen. Moreover, there’s a dual punch-hole selfie camera and 30W fast-charging. We reached the point where mid-ranger devices are as exciting as high-end devices.
Realme 6 and 6 Pro will bring premium features to a low price point
Things become even more interesting if we consider the affordable price tag that Realme promises with this handset. For comparison, we have the Realme 5 that launched in India with a price tag of INR 10,000 ($140). According to the leakster, Realme 6 will start a similar price – CNY 1,000 which works out to just over $140. If this is indeed the case, we expect the Pro variant to sit below $250 margin, it’s a good price point for this amount of specs.
According to reports, there’s even a cheaper Realme 6i on the way. It will feature a 48MP camera but will retain the very old micro-USB standard.
