The LG V60 ThinQ 5G is now official and LG is doing its best to make their high-end offer attractive for the customers who had their hearts stole by the Chinese firms in the past few years. We know it will be a hard task, however, the LG V60 ThinQ doesn’t disappoint as a flagship device packing Snapdragon 865 chipset, 5,000mAh battery and 64MP camera. Now, the company uploaded a short video teaser to show off some of the smartphone camera capabilities.
Gizchina News of the week
If we’re going to talk about the camera, we have to say the LG really surprised us this year. Despite the fact that the handset only has a dual-camera setup with an additional ToF sensor, the camera modules on it are decent. The 64MP main camera is capable of recording 8K video and also offers support for HDR10+ while on manual mode. The 8K video recording feature is something new in smartphones, and Samsung gave the first step with the S20 series. However, the exclusivity was short-lived now that its Korean fellow offers the same recording resolution.
The V60 ThinQ also features “Steady Cam”. It’s LG’s extra smooth stabilization for handheld video. The phone also boasts impressive audio, both for recording playback, with four microphones and a Quad DAC. Now, we have to see how customers will respond to the sixth iteration of the LG V-series. The company’s bleeding mobile segment is keen that this smartphone has enough pros to attract customers over the competition.
